Who we are and how to reach us

This site is run by Maura Cunha's Space, which decides how the personal data described here is handled (the “controller” under the LGPD).

What data we handle, why, and on what legal basis

The site is a showcase: it has no sign-up, login, forms, comments, chat or online sales. That is why it collects very little:

• Technical access data — the site’s hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) automatically logs, as any host does, details such as IP address, date and time, page requested and browser type, to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest (LGPD, art. 7, IX).
• WhatsApp conversation — when you tap “Book”, you open WhatsApp and talk directly with the Space. What you send (name, phone number, address for at-home service, preferred time, etc.) is used only to reply, schedule and provide the service. Legal basis: preliminary procedures and performance of a contract (art. 7, V). WhatsApp is operated by Meta and has its own privacy policy.
• Chosen language — if you switch the site language, that preference is kept on your own device (see “Cookies and local storage”).
• Google map — it only loads if you click “Load the Google map”. In that case Google may collect your IP address and use cookies, under Google’s own policy.
• Customer reviews — the testimonials come from public reviews posted on Google and appear with first name and last-name initial. If you want a testimonial removed or changed, just ask.
• Photos — the images show our work, the space and the team. If you appear in a photo and want it removed, contact us.

We do not make automated decisions, do not build behavioral profiles, and never sell or rent data.

Who the data may be shared with

Only with those needed for the site and the service to work: the host (Vercel), WhatsApp (Meta) and, if you use them, Google (map and reviews) and Instagram. These services may process data outside Brazil, such as in the United States, in which case the safeguards of the LGPD (art. 33) apply. We may also share data when the law or an authority requires it.

Cookies and local storage

This site does not use advertising, statistics or tracking cookies, nor tools such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel, and it loads no third-party scripts. Fonts are served by the site itself.

The only thing kept on your device is your language preference, in the browser’s local storage (key “maura-lang”), created only when you choose a language. It is strictly functional, stays with you, and can be cleared in your browser settings. That is why the site shows no cookie consent banner.

When you open the Google map or links to WhatsApp, Instagram and Google, those services may use their own cookies under their own policies.

How long we keep data

For as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal obligations or to exercise rights in legal proceedings. Technical access logs follow the hosting provider’s retention period. Service conversations may be deleted on request, except where the law requires them to be kept.

Your rights

The LGPD (art. 18) guarantees you, at any time and upon request:

• confirmation that we process your data, and access to it;
• correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
• anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data or data processed unlawfully;
• portability, where applicable;
• information about who the data is shared with;
• withdrawal of consent, where consent is the legal basis, and objection to processing carried out without consent that breaches the law.

To exercise any of them, message the Space on WhatsApp +55 (11) 97710-7835 and say what you need. If you believe your data was handled improperly, you can also complain to Brazil’s National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) at gov.br/anpd.

Security

The site is delivered over a secure connection (HTTPS), with security headers that block scripts and content from unauthorized sources. We take reasonable care, but no system is completely immune; if you notice any problem, let us know on WhatsApp.

Children and teenagers

The site is not directed at children or teenagers and does not collect their data. For children’s services, contact must be made by a parent or legal guardian, as required by LGPD art. 14.

Terms of use

• What the site is. A showcase for Maura Cunha's Space. It sells and charges nothing online: appointments are made on WhatsApp and payment is arranged directly with the Space.
• Prices and conditions. The prices shown are those of the table in force on the date given in the prices section. Any change will be communicated before you book a service. Booking, rescheduling and cancellation conditions are agreed with the Space on WhatsApp when you book. Your rights under Brazil’s Consumer Protection Code (Law No. 8,078/1990) remain fully protected.
• Cosmetic purpose. The services are cosmetic and do not replace assessment, diagnosis or treatment by a healthcare professional. If you have wounds, infections, diabetes, allergies or other health conditions, see a healthcare professional first and tell the Space when you book.
• Site information. We do our best to keep hours, prices, address and other details correct and up to date, but discrepancies may occur. If in doubt, confirm on WhatsApp.
• Reviews. The rating and number of reviews shown come from Google and may change over time; testimonials are customers’ opinions.
• Content. The brand, logo, texts, photos and layout belong to Maura Cunha's Space or to their respective owners. Reproduction without permission is prohibited (Law No. 9,610/1998).
• External links. WhatsApp, Instagram and Google have their own rules and policies, which we do not control.
• Law and venue. Brazilian law applies; for consumers, the courts of the consumer’s home are guaranteed.

Accessibility

We aim to follow WCAG 2.1 level AA: the site can be used with the keyboard alone, has text alternatives for images, adequate color contrast, respects the system’s “reduce motion” setting and works from 320 px wide up to large screens. It has been through automated accessibility testing (axe and Lighthouse). If you find a barrier, tell us on WhatsApp +55 (11) 97710-7835 and we will fix it.

Changes to this page

We may update this text to reflect changes to the site or to the law. The date of the last update is at the top; the version published here is always the current one.
